My name is Jaret Kappelman I am a journalism student at UCF minoring in sports business management. I am currently freelancing for the Orlando Sentinel writing about high school sports. Prior to UCF I was a student-athlete and from a young age I knew if I couldn't play sports professionally then I would work in them. From muting games on the television and commentating myself, to keeping stats at home, sports have and will always be my true passion. I have become the host of the student run sports show "Hitting The Field" and the Executive Producer. I am intending to graduate in May 2021 and I am ready to hit a home run in the professional world.
